The Alliance Française is a unique worldwide organisation, established to promote the French language and culture.
In 1883, 140 years ago, Jules Verne (author), Louis Pasteur, (chemist and biologist), Ferdinand de Lesseps (diplomat) along with other illustrious visionaries, designed the structure for the Alliance Française whose mission is to promote French language and culture around the world.
Based upon the exchange of cultural and linguistic values, the Alliance Française still contributes to the gathering of thousands of women and men who hold those values and want to continue to do so. The Alliances Françaises are the only language schools with worldwide recognition and official accreditation by the government of France.
Our 30 Alliances Françaises in Australia are part of an international network of over 800 centres in 137 countries: the French learning destination of more than 500,000 students worldwide!
The Alliance Française de Milton Ulladulla is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to promoting French language, and culture in the Shoalhaven, in the South Coast of New South Wales Australia. It provides the opportunity for friends of French language and culture to come together in a very welcoming, non-judgemental environment.
We offer French classes to adults at all levels, and organise activities and events throughout the year, including our monthly Matinée des Bavards, movie and dinner nights, and celebrations around Bastille Day and the arrival of the Beaujolais Nouveau.
You do not need to speak French to become a member of the Alliance Française. As a member you will receive regular updates on our various events, and special discounts on tickets to cultural events.
